Happy Holidays to All

Here we are coming up on the end of the year and what a year it’s been. We have managed to survive, but it has been a struggle.

At the moment we are not offering any classes as such. The way folks in the state are behaving I fully expect a lock down in the retail community before we get through the winter. I hope to be able to offer a full slate of classes beginning in April, but that will depend on the progress of the pandemic.

Tricia is offering some limited workshops (small and intimate) so there is some education still happening at Blue Heron. I expect to have a more complete selection of glass by mid January. Some of the stuff that has been on back order for what seems like forever is back in stock so we can fill some holes.

On the more fun side, Oceanside Glass and Tile has sold (or licensed, I’m not sure which) their Uroboros line to Youghiogheny. The new line will be known as Uro by Yough. Should be some fun stuff. At least now we will be able to get some of that wonderful hand cast glass that is impossible to cut. But it is beautiful.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and a prosperous new year. We will get through this mess, there is a new administration right around the corner and 2021 is going to be great. I’ll see you at Blue Heron then. Take care and stay safe.
